Fun Friday Fact #16

At the time of Pearl Harbor, the Commander-in-Chief of the US navy was referred to as CINCUS, pronounced ‘sink us’.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, no sooner had Japan obliged America’s request than the title was hastily changed to the less controversial┬áCOMINCH.

Enough said I think.
